How do I get a library card?
Answer
Oregon Tech Students, Faculty, and Staff: Your Oregon Tech ID card functions as your library card. A valid photo ID (e.g., Oregon Tech ID, driver’s license) is required to check out library materials.
Community Borrowers: Oregon residents may apply for community borrowing privileges in person at the Library Help Desk. A valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license) and proof of current mailing address are required.
Area High School Students: High school students in the Klamath Falls area are eligible to obtain library borrowing privileges. To apply, present a valid high school ID at the Library Help Desk and complete the required application.
Visiting Summit Patrons: Students, faculty, and staff from Orbis Cascade Alliance member institutions may borrow materials from the Oregon Tech Library. Please visit the Library Help Desk to complete a borrowing application. A current ID and institutional ID number from your home campus are required.
Retired & Emeritus Faculty: Oregon Tech emeriti retain their Oregon Tech email accounts and continue to enjoy the same library borrowing privileges as current faculty.
